Season 22 of "Dancing with the Stars" hit its stride Monday night (May 2) having not one, but two couples earning perfect scores. A few dances after Ginger Zee and partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy nailed their Viennese Waltz to Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing," Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas busted out the gate with a red hot jive routine to "Proud Mary."

VanZant admitted during the pre-taped rehearsal interviews that she was struggling with her confidence levels as the competition continued. However, she showed zero signs of hesitation while staying perfectly synchronized with Ballas' quick-footed choreography. The judges could barely contain their excitement.

"Scorching! Almost illegally hot," Bruno Tonilio said. "You won that dance. Amazing."
'That was ridiculous!" CarrieAnne Inaba screamed. "Girl, everybody loves you."
"This was UFC: Under. Full. Control," Len Goodman said, confusing everyone, including host Tom Bergeron.
No one's ever heard the term "UFC" in regards to critiquing a dance routine before, but it's safe to assume it's a high compliment.
"Dancing With the Stars" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
