“The Walking Dead” series producer Greg Nicotero and star Norman Reedus are restaurateurs. The co-workers opened Nic & Norman’s restaurant in Senoia, Ga., which the town where they film their hit AMC show.
Fans that visit the restaurant are not only able to enjoy items from their extensive food and specialty cocktail menu, they may be able to rub shoulders with the cast and crew.

“Our fans are so loyal and so devoted that I think they’ll get a kick out of seeing the make-up effects people and meeting the production people, and having a drink with one of the assistant directors,” Nicotero says to People. “There’s around 400 people that work on ‘The Walking Dead’ so when people come in the restaurant, it will give them another opportunity to bond with the people who create the show.”
Sometimes kitschy restaurants skimp on actually having good food because the main attraction is the celebrity draw, but merely reading through Nic & Norman’s menu will make your mouth water. The next time we’re near “The Walking Dead” set, Zap2it is definitely planning to stop by for dinner.
These are the five menu items we’d risk turning into a zombie to try.
Norman’s Pick Burger
A bison patty with beetroot, spinach, mustard and a fried egg.
“Norman’s signature burger is kind of a healthy burger,” say Nicotero. “And people have the opportunity with all the burgers to do a lettuce wrap as opposed to a bun.”
Sidewinder Beer-battered Fries
We’re all suckers for any kind of new french fry and these sound delicious.
Greg’s Pick Burger
Ground chuck patty blended with brisket and short rib, topped with blue cheese, baby blend lettuce, onions, tomato and their special secret ingredient, N & N sauce.
“It’s kind of funny when you’re involved in a restaurant, because you can go in and change the food. I can say, ‘I don’t really like pickles so take pickles off of the burger.’ Or ‘make it spicier’, because I like spicier stuff,” Nicotero says. “The fact that I have my own signature burger that I can give suggestions about and other items on the menu, it’s kind of fun.”
The BBQ Flatbread
Pair this appetizer with the their signature tomato basil soup? Yes, please.
Nic & Norman’s swag
OK, this isn’t an edible food or drink menu item, but it would be impossible to visit this restaurant and not take some memorabilia home.
