It’s hard to believe that’s its been 20 years since the Spice Girls’ released their first album. Has it really been two decades since “Wannabe” filled the airwaves?
Mel B, along with Posh Spice Victoria Beckham, Baby Spice Emma Bunton, Sporty Spice Melanie Chisholm, and Ginger/Sexy Spice Geri Halliwell, started the girl group revolution and one can only hope Mel B isn’t just toying with viewers’ hearts when she hints that a Spice Girls reunion may still happen. “I do think that as this year develops there’s going to be a lot more ‘Spice’ activity going on,” she tells Urie. “That’s all I can say!”

Fingers crossed the UK girl group can take the time from their busy schedules to make something happen. To see them all together on stage again would be great, to have them release another album would be amazing. Currently, Mel B serves a judge on the “X Factor” competition series, while Victoria Beckham has started her own fashion empire. Both Mel C and Geri have continued on with solo singing careers, and Emma is a regular host on Heart FM.
But we’ll tell ya want we want, want we really, really, want: A “Wannabe” reunion.
“Cocktails & Classics” airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Logo.
