With the infamous “Star Wars” theme playing in the background, Chewbacca makes quite an entrance for his first appearance on “The Ellen Degeneres Show,” on Tuesday (March 22). “Is there anyone here that can actually translate for you?” Ellen asks, before none other that Han Solo himself, actor Harrison Ford walks out.
Chewbacca gets frustrated with the legendary movie star stealing his thunder, and storms off the stage while Ford takes his seat.
Ford then discusses how he was paid $1,000 a week while filming his “Stars Wars” film, and his dismay about the series’ apparent intense current search for a new actor to play his iconic role.
“Not a new Han Solo. A young Han Solo,” the 73-year-old laments.

“No,” Ford says.
