The highly anticipated “Supergirl” and “The Flash” crossover is only seven days away, but the CBS drama isn’t waiting until then to keep doling out the surprises.
On Monday’s (March 21) episode entitled “Manhunter,” a major bomb is dropped on Alex (Chyler Leigh) and Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) when Hank Henshaw/Martian Manhunter (David Harewood) reveals that their father, Dr. Jeremiah Danvers, who is played by none of than “Lois & Clark’s” former “Superman” Dean Cain, is still alive.

In an episode filled with flashbacks revealing how Martian Manhunter first became Hank Henshaw 10 years ago, J’onn J’onzz discovers that Dr. Danvers is at Project Cadmus, but in what capacity? We don’t yet know.
Is he being held prisoner at the government run genetic engineering lab? Has he been turned into an alien? There are so many questions that need to be answered, but all fans can really think is, “OMG. Superman is back!”
Of course, it’s not actually Superman but Dean Cain will forever be TV’s “Superman” and the more of him on “Supergirl” the better.
“Supergirl” airs on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
