“The Bachelorette’s” latest villain is known by one name only — say “Chad” and every fan of the reality TV series automatically groans. His aggressive behavior towards the other contestants got him eliminated, but his swan song episode (which, previews reveal he’s about to go full Freddy Krueger) has yet to air. And he’s already somehow had more screen time than the bachelorette herself, JoJo Fletcher.

Chad Johnson, whose real name is actually Brian, has already been cast for the next season of “Bachelor in Paradise,” so America’s favorite tool is going to be sticking around our TV screens for a bit longer. And when it comes to social media, the luxury real-estate agent is drumming up as much attention as possible on Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter. The meat-eating aggressor has nearly 20,000 followers on Twitter, but Chad only follows 11 in return.
Who are these special chosen people?
Well, first of all, one of them isn’t even a real person. It’s a handle called Chad’s Ego. Of course, Chad would follow his own parody account. Chad’s Ego has over 2,000 followers and posts quotes that sound like The Most Interesting Man in the World meets Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Most of the other people Chad follows are “Bachelorette”-related. He follows the show’s producer Elan Gale, JoJo (of course), Ben Higgins’ main squeeze Laura Bushnell (but not Higgins himself), two “Bachelor” fan sites, and fellow contestant Vinny. Who knew he liked any of the other guys in the house enough to follow them on social media?
After looking at Vinny’s account, how these two became friends becomes clear. As Chad would say, “Gains, bro.”
Rounding out his social media following is “Good Morning America’s” handle, which must be where he gets all his important daily news about himself, and Twitter’s verified account handle. Chad is not verified, and he’s not happy about it. He’s also annoyed that can’t get the same handle that he uses for Instagram on Twitter.

Coming as a surprise to no one, Chad has befriended “Vanderpump Rules” star Jax Taylor. This is the tweet that started their Internet bromance.

Or maybe Chad’s following her for tips on how to extend his 15 minutes of fame. The former “Bachelorette” star may still be single, but she recently penned a memoir, “It’s Not Okay,” which is now a New York Times Bestseller. Even her ex Josh Murray is still riding his time out.
